Our Story

Christa Alexandra Designs is a Vermont based studio that provides fine wedding stationery to brides nationally. Brides can work with Christa, owner and graphic designer, to create a truly custom design or choose from our ever growing library of designs featured in our online stationery shop. Our invitation suites are beautifully designed, cohesive packages. Our style is pretty and colorful with clean typography and decorative elements. Clients choose to have their invitations hand printed on an antique, 1918 vintage letterpress by Christa herself, or take advantage of the traditional route of having the suite digitally flat printed.

We overjoyed to be are heading into our fifth season of creating beautiful stationery for brides. Meet the Designer

Hello! My name is Christa Alexandra Driscoll. In one word, I would describe myself as  “passionate”. I believe in love – I love my husband, my family, my friends and my business. I believe the only way to be successful is to do what you love, and work hard every day at it. I believe in perfection each and every time I design. If you are looking for wedding stationery, I promise you are in the best of hands – my business and I are one and the same – and there is no one more committed to great service and product than myself.

Four years of being the lead graphic designer at a large retail company here in Vermont, has left me well versed in everything from print design to web design to photography…but my passion is for wedding design. It is a genuinely happy time. It’s amazing connecting with brides-to-be, hearing the stories of how they met, who said the four letter word first, the engagement story and thinking through all the details that will capture this excitement on paper (or other fun materials!). Creating beautiful tangible pieces for the wedding is important, there are so many memories to come from that day – by the time it’s come and gone, it’s nice to have something to hold on to. Don’t take it from me though – jump over to the testimonials page to read { past client reviews }

I’m often asked how I got started with letterpress and stationery. As a graphic designer by trade, I was asked on occasion to create wedding invitations for others. During my first year of business and a roughly a dozen projects later, I felt the printing did not come back as pretty or perfect as I imagined it would. After months of research, I found myself buying a one-ton cast iron letterpress from 1918. Learning to print on this press was just what I needed to make my designs come to life. These days I cannot imagine not taking that leap of faith, it has been beyond rewarding and the age-old practice of printing can only be described as a labor of love.

Meet our Letterpress

Our pride and joy is our 1918 Chandler & Price Letterpress.
