Text Reads: “A wedding is a celebration meant to share your unique, enduring love with family and friends; shouldn’t every aspect of that day be as personal as your relationship itself? Christa White, freelance graphic designer extraordinaire, certainly thinks it should! White’s custom design and letterpress takes every couple into account with that kind of careful personalization, working intimately with them to realize all their printed needs. Based in beautiful northern Vermont, White has years of experience in everything print and web–but her particular passion is wedding design, as she loves to connect with brides and hear their inspiring stories of love. As she so beautifully notes herself, “your love story is what makes the wedding of your dreams come alive.”
From Save the Date’s to place cards, menus to gift tags, she sets the perfect tone for whatever the festivities require with all the professionalism inherent in her seasoned repertoire. White’s success in wedding design can be traced to a natural enthusiasm for crafting fused with her romantic, pretty style–one that’s so refreshing amid the modern understatement of today’s design trends. From her first experience helping out a close friend with nuptial plans, she realized how well her own interests meshed with helping other brides–and the rest, as they say, is history!
Creating quality products of which you can both be proud, she even employs the slow-method letterpress for a timeless, elegant finish that works on any number of interesting materials, including wood veneer (above). The whole process is a labor of love not often seen in this, our digital age; and dedication to detail is what sets Christa apart. Consultation can start with whatever amount of specificity or free reign you choose; the designer will ask questions to understand your vision and ask for your feedback throughout to ensure you’re on the same page. Custom-designed wedding invitations–a longer process, but also easier–take roughly three months prior to sending; Save the Date’s require roughly two months prior.
Not a Vermonter? Don’t let her distance deter you; she’s more than happy to help nationwide, thanks to the world wide web! With the holiday season rapidly approaching, new holiday season letterpress is available, featuring glassine envelopes and matching confetti; and we’re all anxiously awaiting the spring 2012 debut of her brand-new collection of wedding invitations.
Make sure to keep an eye out! With Christa’s help, make your wedding an event especially yours! For more information, drop her a line at christa@christaalexandra.com, or visit her website for more information at www.christaalexandra.com.
Check her out–you’ll be glad you did!”
